Notes: The trail, while dramatic and beautiful, is also known for it rain and mud. Over 100 inches of rain fall here every year, which can create knee deep mud puddles throughout the trail's 75km length. One mud puddle is no big deal, but when you have to deal with several hundred of these, the going can be strenuous and slow.
